After you have made your first backup and created the SmartSet, you should make a habit of backing up your files. How often depends on you. If you can afford to lose up to a weekΓÇÖs work, you may want to back up only once a week; however, most people find daily backups the best solution.
To update your SmartSet, insert one of the SmartSet disks when DiskFit asks for the first destination disk. DiskFit will recognize it as part of a SmartSet and update only the files that have changed since the last backup. It will ask only for the disks it needs to complete the backup.
By the way, if you quit DiskFit in the middle of a backup, the program will remember which files were backed up and start up where it left off the next time you back up to that SmartSet.
